BIO:
Author, speaker, and adoption social worker Paula Freeman shares with candor and grace about what happens when life hijacks our plans and shatters our dreams. She inspires grace for the hard stuff and hope for the journey.
Paula is the founder and former executive director of Hope’s Promise, a Colorado licensed adoption agency and international orphan care ministry and the author of A Place I Didn’t Belong: Hope for Adoptive Moms. Following her retirement in 2014, Paula and her husband, Ray, embarked on their last great adventure and moved from Colorado to coastal North Carolina where Ray unexpectedly died two weeks later. Paula writes and speaks to adoptive moms, widows, those who have experienced grief and loss, and for all who desire a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus.
Widowed with seven grown children, four by birth and three by adoption, Paula is also Mimi to ten delightful grands. She lives in Colorado but gets to the beach as often as she can. Visit her at www.paulasfreeman.com or email her at paulasfreeman@gmail.com
