Bio: Sandra P. Aldrich, president and CEO of Bold Words, Inc., in Colorado Springs is a popular speaker and award-winning author or co-author of 23 books.

She holds a Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University, but says it is her “Ph.D. in the School of Hard Knocks” that makes her a frequent guest on TV and radio programs, including several Focus on the Family broadcasts.

Sandra’s speaking style is “make a point, tell a story” and she presents life’s serious issues with spiritual insight and humor.  Her events include women’s and couple’s retreats, single-parent conferences, military programs, hospice seminars, business meetings and educational workshops.

In addition to her speaking, Sandra’s love for the Lord and family show up in writing. Her most recent book—and first novel—Zetta’s Dream: An Appalachian Coal Camp Novel, won the 2016 Silver Scroll from the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. Two other titles, HeartPrints and Will I Ever Be Whole Again? were awarded Silver Angels by the Excellence in Media group.

Other books include, Heart Hugs for Single Moms: 52 Devotions to Encourage You, Zetta’s Coal Camp Recipes, Bless Your Socks Off: Unleashing the Power of Encouragement, Honey, Hang in There! Encouragement for Busy Moms, and Men Read Newspapers, Not Minds—and other things I wish I’d known when I first married.

Sandra, a transplanted Kentuckian from the Appalachian Mountains, enjoys living within sight of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Front Range.
