BIO:

I love to tell a story whether public speaking, teaching, singing, acting on stage, or creating a novel, 

I originated AMG’s Preparing My Heart series, (Preparing My Heart for Advent) write the column “Ann’s Lovin’ Ewe” for The Country Register and blogged for Mentoring Moments. My first novel, Stars in the Grass came out February 2017 and won the Christy Award for Best Debut Novel of 2017 and was nominated for Best Debut Novel 2017 in the Inspys. Out of the Water was a finalist for Chanticleer Somerset Award, Bronze IP Award, and finalist for National Indie Award. All is Calm, All is Bright comes out in hardback December 2023.

When I’m not writing, I’m teaching voice, directing musicals, or watching UVA Basketball. In my free time I hang out with my husband, raising two lovely daughters and a whole flock of fuzzy sheep on Skye Moor Farm, in Virginia–where unscripted drama provides plenty of entertaining material.
