BIO:

Dr. Natalie Ford is a licensed professional counselor, author, and speaker passionate about helping others navigate grief, mental illness, and suffering. After experiencing suicide loss, she committed her life to prevention and postvention efforts, working to break the stigma associated with mental illness.  

Dr. Ford lives in the North Georgia Mountains with her husband, Jeff.  Natalie graduated from Mercer University with an undergraduate degree in political science. She later completed her master’s degree at Reformed Theological Seminary, and she earned a PhD in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Dr. Ford is a licensed professional counselor, the International Member Care Coordinator at her church, and an adjunct professor at Liberty University. 

Dr. Ford has written multiple books including Seeking Answers, Finding Peace: Loving and Losing Someone to Suicide, Through the Tears: Helping Children Grieve Suicide Loss, and Grace-based Counseling: An Effective New Biblical Model. She has spoken internationally at both faith-based and mental health related events.
