As a first time independent author and Gold Star Navy Widow, Kris Rystrom Emmert, has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts in Communication from Regent University. Kris is a highly skilled public speaker combining her extensive education, military experience, challenges of being a single mother, talents as a business woman, years of being a professor at various higher-education institutions, and her multiple motivational presentations before thousands of people. Living to the fullest in East Tennessee, Kris cherishes her life as a pastor’s wife, mom to four children, grandmother and ministry founder of Providing Promise Ministries.
