BIO:

Penelope Carlevato was born in England and moved to the US as a little girl. She was raised in an English home on the plains of South Dakota. She has been involved in the tea industry for over three decades, from having her own retail tea business, writing and speaking about tea and the art of hospitality to women’s groups as well as historical organizations, and business events. She is a tour leader for annual “Taste of Britain” tea tours. Penelope is a Christian author and speaker and a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Bureau. Her books include Tea on the Titanic, First Class Etiquette as well as the bestselling The Art of Afternoon Tea: From the Era of Downton Abbey and the Titanic which was presented as a gift to H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II. Not only is she author of three books, but she is also a member of the Titanic Speakers Bureau and serves as a regular columnist for Leading Hearts, the award-winning magazine for Christian women in leadership (leadinghearts.com). A love of the Edwardian era and the traditions of that period was the motivation for her books. She is the grandmother of 11 and resides in Denver, Colorado.
