Marion Pyle refers to life these days as before the cancer and after the cancer. Her harrowing journey to help save her husband from succumbing to a bladder malignancy in 2012-13 was so life transforming, she poured the experience in her acclaimed book “Healed, Healthy and Whole, How We Beat Cancer with Integrative Therapies and Essential Healing Strategies,” and gives glory to God for the mess that became a miracle.

Before the cancer Marion worked as an international media and communication professional with expertise in the performing arts, broadcast journalism, media production, public relations, and public affairs.

Born in Argentina to Scottish/American parents, raised in Mexico City and educated in the U.S., Marion developed an appreciation for all cultures at an early age. This perspective was further enhanced by her missions work in southeast Asia, China, India, and Bible college training in Australia.

Actor/Playwright/Acting Coach
Marion’s career began in the theatre, a medium she still loves to this day. She has performed with such talents as Meryl Streep, Sam Neil and Michael York. Her body of work includes television, film, musical theatre, and commercials. While living in Melbourne, Australia, Marion combined acting with writing and producing theatre, and founded the P&M Drama Studios, an artistic hub where she trained a stable of talented actors and directors.

TV Host/Writer/Producer/Director
Returning to Southern California, Marion pioneered the video news magazine “Straight From The Tap.” As the writer, producer/director, and co-host, she transformed complex scientific, legislative and political issues about water sustainability and green living into an entertaining and stylish series that aired on more than 135 statewide cable networks including Time Warner, Charter and select Bay Area PBS stations. The series was honored repeatedly with Telly awards, PRisms, Public Affairs accolades, and numerous other media recognitions. A versatile and creative artist, Marion’s work as an advertising copywriter and producer of commercials also earned her a Clio award, the advertising industry’s highest recognition (http://www.mackenziepyle.com).

Public Relations/Brand Marketing/Fundraising
Today, Marion and her husband, Russell, are co-founders of The Legacy Media Lab, a boutique media and communications agency dedicated to “The Art and Craft of Making an Impact” (http://www.legacymedialab.com). They provide media production and brand marketing for corporate, government and non profit clients; offer public speaking and presentational speaking seminars for artists and executives; furnish media and spokesperson training for leaders; provide audiovisual expertise for live events; and do set and lighting design for theatre, film and television. As a team they have written and produced fundraising galas and media productions with celebrities such as Pulitzer-prize-winning author and playwright, Larry McMurtry, actors Jeff Bridges, Diane Lane and Jake Gyllenhaal, among other luminaries.

Author/Speaker/Seminar Leader
In 2014, Marion published her first book “Healed, Healthy and Whole, How We Beat Cancer with Integrative Therapies and Essential Healing Strategies” (http://www.healedhealthyandwhole.com). The story chronicles a terrifying race against time, overcoming devastating odds, to find healing for her husband’s deadly bladder cancer. Considered an “exceptional page turner,” her journey of discovery thunders with a fierce faith that leads to the world of integrated, alternative therapies where her husband finds ultimate healing. Packed with spiritual, medical, physical, and relational recommendations and resources, the book is considered a must-read for anyone fighting cancer or other chronic conditions. Marion’s media interviews have included:
