BIO:

Jackie M. Baker is the author of Messy Mourning: Hope for Mothers Grievingthe Loss of a Child by Suicide. After losing her son to suicide, Jackie beganwriting what she wished she had in the earliest days – words that make room forgrief without rushing it, and faith that can hold honest questions.

With a compassionate, practical approach, Jackie encourages grieving mothers to take one small step at a time toward support, community, and hope. Jackie is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest and has been married to Steve for thirty-six years. They have two children, a married daughter who lives in Arizona, and a son who lives in heaven.
