BIO:
As a journalist and freelance writer, Sandra has published 700+ articles for 20+ publications including Charisma & Christian Life, Allegiant Airlines in-flight magazine and Atlanta Parent’s Magazine. Her award-winning, children’s devotional, Fingerprint Devotions: 40 Devotions to Help You Realize You Are a Kid Uniquely Created by God for a Purpose ©2023 (ages 8-12), helps kids discover a personal relationship with God, develop godly character traits, and discover their self-worth and purpose in life.
Sandra is also the author of an adult book on prayer, Lord, It’s Boring in My Prayer Closet: How to Revitalize Your Prayer Life. She currently teaches an online course on prayer for BeADisciple.com based on her book. Sandra is also a contributing author to Pray a Word a Day 2 by Guideposts (©May 2023) and Abba’s Lessons by CrossRiver Media Group ©2023).
Sandra is the host of the 5-Minute Parenting Podcast, a Christian parenting podcast offering practical and spiritual tips and resources to help parents raise competent, godly kids.
Sandra is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI); Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA); Christian Authors Network (CAN); Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers (BRMCW); and Serious Writers Club.
When not writing, Sandra enjoys walks on the beach with her hubby, exploring new destinations for her travel articles, curling up with a good mystery or spending time with their daughter, son-in-law and their adorable French bulldog.
