BIO:

Elder Tanya R. Liverman is an ordained minister and serves at Empowered Believers Christian Learning Center (EBCLC), in Hampton, Virginia under the direction of Pastor John A. Young, as a provision to his vision: “Empowering Believers to Build the Kingdom of God.” Tanya and her husband, Vance, have been married for 17 years, have six sons, one daughter, serve together in the International Ministry, the choir, and are the directors of the Marriage Ministry of EBCLC. In addition, Tanya is the praise dance director and sings with the praise and worship team.

Tanya works for Hampton City Schools as a special education instructional assistant and co-directs the SMZBT Teen Leadership Institute under the administration of Rev. Dr. Jerome Barber. She is the founder and facilitator of G.I.R.L.S. with P.E.A.R.L.S., a transition program for girls that teaches character building, leadership, and social skills. Moreover, she is the owner of Native Productions, home of the BTR broadcast, “Journey to Legacy” show, and a company that puts people’s visions into books, videos, and web sites. Tanya is the author of Journey to Legacy: A poetic timeline of my life and Memoirs of an Educarer: An Inspiration for Education.

In the community Tanya R. Liverman is an advocate, a minister, a mentor, an educarer, and a friend who is passionate in helping people fulfill their purpose and motivating them to leave a legacy for their loved ones.
