Third place went to Karen Porter for \u201cAmplify: Secrets for Successful Speaking\u201d (Bold Vision Books).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christian Living Book of the Year went to Michelle Rayburn with commentary by Phil Rayburn for \u201cClassic Marriage: Staying in Love as Your Odometer Climbs\u201d (Faith Creative Life Books).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Christian Living Book of the Year went to Margot Starbuck for \u201cThe Grown Woman&#8217;s Guide to Online Dating: Lessons Learned While Swiping Right, Snapping Selfies, and Analyzing Emojis\u201d (Thomas Nelson). Third place went to Lynn Eib for \u201cWhen Grief and God Meet: Comfort and Courage for Your Journey\u201d (Tyndale Publishers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible Study Book of the Year was awarded to Carol Tetzlaff for \u201cEzra Unleashing the Power of Praise: A 7 Week Bible Study\u201d (Redemption Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Bible Study Book of the Year went to Joyce Ainsworth and June Chapko for \u201cCount it All Joy: Wellness and Health, A Study in James\u201d (Joyce Ainsworth and June Chapko). Third place went to Stephanie Pavalantos for \u201cJewels of Hebrews\u201d (Mt. Zion Ridge Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Memoir of the Year was awarded to Martha Bolton and Linda Hope for \u201cDear Bob: Bob Hope\u2019s Wartime Correspondence with the G.I.s of World War II\u201d (University Press of Mississippi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Memoir of the Year went to Annie Farris for \u201cThat One Person: The True Story of a God Appointed Stranger Who Saved the Life of a Little Girl with Her Love\u201d (Crosslink Publishing). Third place went to Jeanette Windle and Abe Cruz for \u201cForever Faith: The Abe Cruz Story, Mindset of Champions\u201d (Forever Faith Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Inspirational Gift Book of the Year was awarded to Mary Potter Kenyon for \u201cCalled to Be Creative\u201d (Familius).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Inspirational Gift Book of the Year went to Cynthia Cavanaugh, editor, for \u201cShe Writes for Him: Black Voices of Wisdom\u201d (Redemption Press). Third place went to Cynthia Cavanaugh, editor, for \u201cShe Writes for Him: Stories of Living Hope\u201d (Redemption Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Devotional Book of the Year went to Grace Fox \u201cFinding Hope in Crisis: Devotions for Calm in the Chaos\u201d (Aspire Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Devotional Book of the Year was a tie with Karen Whiting for \u201cGrowing a Mother\u2019s Heart: Devotions of Faith, Hope, and Love from Mothers Past, Present, and Future\u201d (AMG Publishers) and Kathy Collard and Larry Miller for \u201cGod\u2019s Intriguing Questions: 60 New Testament Devotions Revealing Jesus\u2019 Nature\u201d (Elk Lake Publishing, Inc.).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Third place was also a tie with Carla Wicks for \u201cThat Still Small Whisper\u201d (Motivation Champs Publishing) and Kathy Howard for \u201cDeep Rooted: Growing Through the Gospel of Mark\u201d (Bold Vision Books).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mystery\/Suspense Novel of the Year was awarded to Lynette Eason for \u201cAcceptable Risk\u201d (Baker).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for the Mystery\/Suspense Novel of the Year went to Carrie Stuart Parks for \u201cRelative Silence\u201d (Thomas Nelson). Third place went to Starr Ayers for \u201cFor the Love of Emma\u201d (Mountain Brook Ink).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Romance Novel of the Year was awarded to Sandra P. Aldrich for \u201cEmbracing Eden: Zetta\u2019s Granddaughter Returns Home\u201d (Bold Words, Inc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place for Romance Novel of the Year went to Konnie K. Viner for \u201cAmaryllis Journey\u201d (Redemption Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Novella of the Year was awarded to Deborah Raney for \u201cMaking Room at the Inn\u201d (Barbour).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Arise Daily Writer of the Year was awarded to Patti Richter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AWSA\u2019s official magazine, \u201cLeading Hearts,\u201d won their seventh straight Evangelical Press Association Merit award. The \u201cLeading Hearts\u201d Columnist of the Year went to Edie Melson. Feature Article of the Year went to Michelle S. Lazurek for her article, \u201cArise to Contentment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2021 graduating Certified AWSA Coaches were recognized: Michelle Bengtson, Patricia Durgin, Debora Coty, Michelle Lazurek, and Janet McHenry&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second year to present the Christian Market Book Awards.
