Dr. Pat Ennis taught Home Economics for the San Diego Unified School District before developing and establishing the Home Economics Department at Christian Heritage College located in El Cajon, California at the request of Dr. Tim LaHaye. She moved to The Master\u2019s College in 1987, at the invitation of Dr. John MacArthur, to establish the Home Economics-Family and Consumer Science Department. Relocation to the College at Southwestern Baptist Theological occurred in 2011. She holds the title of Distinguished Professor Emeritus from Southwestern.<\/p>\n

Pat is the author of\u00a0Precious in the Sight of God, the Fine Art of Becoming a Godly Woman<\/em>, co-author, along with Lisa Tatlock, of\u00a0Becoming a Woman Who Pleases God A Guide to Your Biblical Potential<\/em>(Moody Publishers),<\/em>Designing a Lifestyle that Pleases God\u00a0<\/em>(Moody Publishers),<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Practicing Hospitality, the Joy of Serving Others\u00a0<\/em>(Crossway Publishers),\u00a0<\/em>as well as a contributing author to\u00a0Pearl Girls, Experiencing Grit, Encountering Grace\u00a0<\/em>(Moody),\u00a0Think Biblically, Recovering a Christian World View\u00a0<\/em>(Crossway Publishers) and\u00a0Daily Devotions for Writers,\u00a0<\/em>(Infinity Publishing.com, 2008. Becoming a Young Woman Who Pleases God<\/em>, published by New Hope Publishers, was released in 2010 and\u00a0The Christian Homemakers Handbook ,\u00a0<\/em>co-authored with Dr. Dorothy Patterson, wife of the President of Southwestern. The volume, contracted by Crossway Publishers, is a collaborative effort with 22 key leaders in Women\u2019s Ministry.\u00a0\u00a0God is My Strength<\/i>, published by Christian Focus, was released in 2015. Her professional memberships include the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and AWSA (Advanced Writers and Speakers Association). Pat\u2019s life\u2019s mission is to<\/p>\n
