For as long as singer\/songwriter\u00a0Staci Frenes<\/strong>\u00a0can remember, music has been her saving grace, and the unmistakable key to self-discovery. A lifelong love of words and music has led Staci to cultivate songs and stories into something strong and beautiful and brave.<\/p>\n

This UC-Berkeley graduate, mom and former English teacher has enjoyed successes she hadn\u2019t dared to dream. Her acoustic folk-pop songs have inspired not only audiences at her concerts all over the country, but millions of viewers on major network shows such as\u00a0The Biggest Loser, America’s Next Top Model, All My Children<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Nashville<\/em>\u00a0as well as in nationally released feature films.<\/p>\n

Staci\u2019s latest CD,\u00a0Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is a collection of songs about navigating the messy, unpredictable waters of change. Her most vulnerable and honest songwriting to date, the album reflects a season of big life changes including deep personal losses and the ever shifting roles of career and parenting.<\/p>\n

Held together loosely by the imagery of moving waters, the songs as a whole convey both an\u00a0unflinching honesty about the inevitability of suffering and a hopeful optimism about the transformation it brings.<\/p>\n

Staci’s creativity and passion for encouraging others led her to write \u00a0Flourish<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>a conversational, inspiring collection of stories and insights about how to cultivate a life in which our unique gifts find their full expression. Staci shares her journey of discovering her God-designed purpose, and also that of people across the creative spectrum\u2014from homemakers to professional artists\u2014who use their talents in generous and life-giving ways.<\/p>\n
