Bio:<\/b><\/span> Judith Couchman is an author, speaker, and art history instructor. She’s published more than 40 books, Bible studies, compilations, and commentaries. Her books cover topics as diverse as discovering your purpose, shaping the soul, thriving in difficult times, hearing God’s voice, body image, art history, church history, and flower gardening. Her recent books include The Art of Faith: A Guide to Understanding Christian Images (Paraclete) and The Mystery of the Cross (Inter-Varsity). Other titles include A Garden’s Promise, Celebrating Friendship, Designing a Woman’s Life, His Gentle Voice,The Shadow of His Hand, and The Woman Behind the Mirror.<\/p>\n

Judith presents seminars based on her books and about the writing\/publishing process. She speaks to a variety of groups in the United States and overseas. She also founded Clarity magazine for women, the Write the Vision retreats for women writers, and the Pathways to Publishing one-day seminars for writers.<\/p>\n

In addition to writing and speaking, Judith teaches art history courses as a part-time, online instructor for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She specializes in Christian art. Judith holds a B.S. in education (English and journalism), an M.A. in journalism, and an M.A. in art history. She lives in Colorado.<\/p>\n
