While she enjoys the privilege of speaking at retreats and conferences, she also cherishes the intimate relationships developed through local long-term ministry. A single mom for 12 years, Elsa worked as the <em>Single-Parent Family<\/em> editor for Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs. In 2005, she remarried and relocated to Bella Vista, Arkansas. From there she flies all over the country to lead retreats for a variety of audiences. Elsa is also the author of four books<em>: A Woman Who Hurts, A God Who Heals; A Woman With a Past, A God With a Future; Settling for Less Than God\u2019s Best? A Relationship Checkup for Single Women<\/em> and <em>The Single Mom\u2019s Guide to Finding Joy in the Chaos<\/em>. In addition, Elsa has authored hundreds of articles and partnered in multiple book projects as a compiler and\/or editor.
