Dianne E. Butts has been writing professionally since 1989, with her first publication in\u00a0The Lookout<\/em>\u00a0in 1991. Since then, she has written for national and international print publications, including the Salvation Army\u2019s international magazine\u00a0War Cry!<\/em>,\u00a0Focus on the Family<\/em>\u00a0magazine,\u00a0The Plain Truth, On Mission, Live, Standard<\/em>,\u00a0Evangel<\/em>,\u00a0Enrichment<\/em>,\u00a0Light and Life<\/em>, and\u00a0Encounter<\/em>. Her articles have been published in Great Britain, Bulgaria, Poland, Canada, and Korea. She has also written for online sites such as CBN.com, Crosswalk.com, and AWSA\u2019s AriseDailyDevos.com (https:\/\/arisedailydevos.wordpress.com\/2018\/02\/05\/into-the-storm\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Also an author of her own books, Dianne authored the 3-book nonfiction series\u00a0Prophecies Fulfilled in the Birth of Jesus<\/em>,\u00a0Prophecies Fulfilled in the Death & Resurrection of Jesus<\/em>, and\u00a0Prophecies Fulfilled in the Life of Jesus<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Dianne\u2019s book,\u00a0Deliver Me<\/em>, a collection of more than 50 true stories of unplanned pregnancy and the sometimes inspiring, sometimes devasting aftermath, was awarded Nonfiction Book of the Year in 2012 by Christian Small Publisher\u2019s Association in the Family\/Relationships category and was a finalist for AWSA\u2019s Golden Scroll Nonfiction Book of the Year.<\/p>\n

Her co-authored book,\u00a0Grandparenting Through Obstacles<\/em>, won the same CSPA category award in 2013,\u00a0GRAND<\/em>\u00a0magazine\u2019s Best Grandparenting Books in 2012, and Nonfiction Book of the Year at The Book Club Network.<\/p>\n

Dianne has published numerous Kindle e-books for writers and on Biblical topics.<\/p>\n

Also a screenwriter, separate screenplays Dianne wrote placed as a semi-finalist and a finalist in Movieguide\u2019s Kairos Prize for Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays. She has written, produced, and directed award-winning short films, one co-written with a team of AWSA screenwriters.<\/p>\n

Dianne attended Act One Program\u2019s Writing for Hollywood in 2010 and their Producing & Entertainment Executive Program in 2020.<\/p>\n

Dianne leads AWSA\u2019s Hollywood Masterminds group for active and aspiring screenwriters.<\/p>\n
