DeeDee Lake is a six-time published author, speaker, columnist, and business coach for aspiring authors. As a Navy Brat and retired Army wife, she brings a lifetime of stories, resilience, humor, and faith-filled encouragement to everything she writes and teaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DeeDee serves as an Author Relations Coordinator with CrossRiver Media, where she has spent ten years encouraging and guiding authors through the business side of writing and publishing. She is also a graduate of the National Speaker\u2019s Academy and a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and Hill Country Women in Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known for her warm, conversational speaking style, DeeDee makes audiences feel as if they have just sat down for coffee with a trusted friend\u2014one who will cheer them on, tell the truth with kindness, and probably mention potatoes at least once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After more than forty years of marriage to her favorite retired Army helicopter pilot, DeeDee remains passionate about faith, family, extraordinary relationships, and helping authors move forward with clarity and confidence. She loves encouraging writers to navigate the twists and turns of the author journey without losing their joy, purpose, or sense of humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DeeDee lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband and their road-trip-ready dogs. She is a proud mom, Nana, hopeless romantic, and firm believer that strong relationships are built one meaningful conversation at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
