In an industry rampant with temptation and excess, Lani Netter has maintained her Christian morals and values. Lani is married to Gil Netter, Hollywood Producer of 26 feature films such as Academy Award Winner, The Blind Side, Marley and Me, and Flicka. She has been fulfilling her passion and calling as a Hollywood intercessor since their marriage in 1984. “Being married to Hollywood has forced me to grow in the Lord in so many ways.” While living the role of a Hollywood wife, she devoted herself to her two children; Jake, 23 and Grace, 15. Lani attends Jubilee Church in Camarillo, California. She and Gil have a farm in Malibu where they raise horses, chickens, and fruit trees.
Lani’s walk has led her around the world, first as a model, then wife and mother, intercessor, and now film producer. The Lord has now inspired Lani to start her own values-based production company. She currently has one film and two documentaries in production, all of which have a core essence of God’s message. Her motto is “Never a dull moment on the front lines with God.”
Lani has plenty of stories of inspiration and humorous anecdotes about life in Hollywood as a conservative Christian. Lani has been a writer for the Malibu Surfside News. She is also on the Advisory Film Board at Pepperdine University. Two charities that she champions are The Union Rescue Mission and The Dream Center. Ephesians 3:20 is her key scripture; Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
