Judy Hampton

Judy Hampton was a popular speaker best known for her entertaining speaking style and communication skills. Her strong relationships energized her humorous illustrations, and her powerful messages had audiences laughing out loud one minute and wiping a tear the next.

Her testimony aired several times on Focus on the Family radio broadcast, as well as The Billy Graham Association’s ‘Decision Today’ and Moody Radio. She appeared on several television programs, including “At Home Live with Chuck and Jenni” and Insight: Television for Women on Family Net Cable. Judy was also part of a Christmas album for Focus on the Family, distributed to Pastors around the world. Judy taught two sessions on DVD for the CBA Silver Medallion Award winning series: “Doing Life Together” (Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Group Resources).

Judy was a free-lance writer with publications in several magazines, including Charles Stanley’s In Touch Magazine, Progress Magazine, Alive Crosswalk, Tapestry (Walk Thru The Bible) and Gospel Roads.  She was a collaborating author to many books, including Chicken Soup for the Christian Woman’s Soul (Rated Top 10 by Publisher’s Weekly), 101 Best Stories Chicken Soup for the Soul, God’s Way for Couples, Soul Matters for Women, Love Letters from the Heart, Kisses of Sunshine for Grandmas and Women (Zondervan 2005) and Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children (Harvest House 2008) and 30 Ways to Embrace Life (Wise Women Share Their Secrets).

She was married and she and her husband had two married children and five grandchildren.

Carla Williams

Carla Williams passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 29th, 2013.  Carla was a dear friend, author, and editor.  She is missed by all.

Pamela Kay Sonnenmoser

1967-2014

Pamela was a Christian author and speaker and an active member of Grace Evangelical Church, St. Joseph. She was one the founders of Grace & Girlfriends’ Ministry; and spoke at many women’s conferences around the country. She also assisted with a feeding of the homeless ministry, and took several mission trips with SWAT during Christmas to Mexico.

She was married to John C. Sonnenmoser on October 20, 1992. She is survived by her husband John, her mother and step-father, Linda and Edward Miknaitas, Yuma; a brother, Robert (Kelli) Gwinn; and nephew, Rowan Gwinn, all of Las Vegas, Nev.

We love and miss you Pam!

Janice Chaffee 

July 27, 1952 – February 16, 2007

Our dear sister Janice slipped into Jesus’ arms
this morning at 7:30, February 16, 2007. We miss her but we knhow she is in a better place.

Kristy’s husband, Milton says, “Kristy’s home going was glorious. Thank you for your continued love and prayers for Julie, Jennifer, grands, family, and me.

We are glad you are with our Lord. We will see you again Kristy.

 

Shirley Brinkerhoff

Shirley Brinkerhoff wrote the Nikki Sheridan YA series for Focus on the Family, worked as an editor at Boyd’s Mill Press and the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE). She was an accomplished pianist with a master’s degree in performance. She is survived by three children, Marcus, Melanie, and Ryan, and three granchildren. All through her third fight with cancer, she was writing and an active member of the Evening Writers Arena, a critique group in the Lancaster, PA area. She had a great heart for the Lord, for her kids and grandkids, and for music and writing. She was a woman of uncommon talent and grace.
