BIO:

Nancy Stafford has been inspiring and encouraging others for thirty years through film and television, books, and speaking. Nancy has   starred in numerous movies and been a regular on six TV series , including five years as Andy Griffith’s law partner on “Matlock”.

She received Movie Guide’s Grace Award nomination for “Inspiring Acting” for her role in the film “Christmas with a Capital C”. Her film, “SuperHeros Don’t Need Capes” and StudyGuide are being used in Anti-Bullying Assemblies in schools, youth groups, and prisons nationwide. Her latest faith films include“Christmas for a Dollar”, “A Season of Miracles” and “Christmas Oranges”.

Her book, Beauty by the Book: Seeing Yourself as God Sees You, was called by Assist News Service “one of the most valuable Christian books to be published in decades”. Beth Moore calls her book, The Wonder of His Love: A Journey into the Heart of God, “like a warm embrace from God Himself.”

A popular speaker for women’s conferences, outreach events, colleges, churches, and other organizations, Nancy connects with others on a deep level. She speaks straight from the heart with warmth and transparency to inspire healing, wholeness, and freedom. Sharing Biblical principles, her passion is to help others grasp their true identity and worth in Christ through the Scriptures and truths we need to find freedom from our pasts and from the bondage of our culture’s standards. Her accessibility, humor, and transparency as she shares her own life experiences of overcoming insecurities, struggles, and loss, make her instantly relatable.

Off-screen Nancy serves on the US Board of SAT-7 Christian satellite television network with programming created by and for Christians living in the Middle East and North Africa, broadcasting on five channels in three languages, with 15 million viewers in the region.

She serves on the Biola University Studio Task Force – a network of Hollywood professionals investing in the next generation of writers, directors, producers, & actors. She also serves on The Dove Foundation Advisory Board, NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) Film and Television Committee, and is a frequent speaker and faculty member at media events and performing arts schools nationwide.

Nancy and her husband, Larry Myers, a worship musician, have been married for 24 years and live in southern CA. Her favorite role is step-mom to beautiful Katie, and Grandma to 12-year-old Blake.
