BIO:

Sheri Schofield is a veteran in children’s ministries. Upon asking Jesus into her heart at age four, Sheri immediately knew she wanted to become a missionary. As a teenager, she began working with Child Evangelism Fellowship and taught Sunday school. She trained in children’s ministry and theology at Prairie Bible College and Biola University before marrying Tim Schofield, who also planned to become a missionary after he completed medical school on a military scholarship. They had two children during their early years of marriage, Drew and Christy, who are now grown, married and serving Jesus where they live. During his military service, Tim was disabled, which prevented his and Sheri’s plans of serving overseas, but did not change their commitment to Jesus.

Through the years, Sheri has written her own curriculum, fashioning it to meet the needs of the children in her classes. She has also written an award-winning book for military children, Race To Eagle Mountain, to help them cope with the military deployment of parents through a fictitious story of two other children who faced the same situation. (Her publisher for this book went out of business, but the book is going to be available through another publisher soon.)

After writing and teaching a series of lessons that effectively led children into a personal, saving relationship with Jesus, Sheri decided to make her material available to parents and other teachers. She founded her own ministry, Faithwind 4 Kids. Her first book for this ministry, The Prince and the PlanLead your child to Jesus in 24 memory-making lessons, is scheduled to reach the market in June of 2018.
